We currently sell custom cut quarters and halves once a year in the fall (ready for pickup before Thanksgiving). We are currently taking orders for November 2021. Place your order below!
How bulk purchases work
On average, a quarter beef weighs 190 lbs. You will work with the butcher at Eickman’s Processing to customize the cuts of meat you get out of your quarter. You can see what the options are for various cuts on their website here. After the beef is aged and cut, you will pick up your quarter from Eickman’s located in Seward, IL.
Bulk Prices
You will get two invoices. Here’s why:
- Pay the farmer: We charge $3.10/lb for the beef (average 190 lbs per quarter). We take a $250 non-refundable deposit to hold your order and send an invoice with the final total once the butcher has your beef and we have an exact final weight.
- Pay the butcher: Processing (cutting, freezing & packaging fee) is paid separately to Eickman’s Processing upon pickup. This cost varies depending on your cut preferences. Average processing cost is 70¢/lb.
How to Order
We are now taking pre-orders for quarters and halves for November 2021.
To order, click the button below to make a non-refundable $250 deposit per quarter beef. (If you want to order more than one quarter, simply adjust the quantity at the link below.) We will contact you once the beef is ready in 2021 with a final invoice and instructions for working with the butcher on your custom cuts.
