Grandpa Dan doesn’t just raise cattle, pigs and sheep — he is an organic grain farmer, too! Dan has enjoyed making pizza for our family every Sunday evening for over a decade. He has played around with the idea of making crust out of his own grain for years, but he couldn’t get the recipe quite right … until now! We hope Grandpa Dan’s grain products create some new memories or traditions for your family just like they have for ours.

Grandpa Dan’s corn meal, wheat flour and rye flour are all made with just one ingredient: organic whole grains which Grandpa Dan hand-mills in small batches right here on our farm. Using the whole kernel creates a nutrient dense product that is a rich source of carbohydrates, protein, unsaturated fats, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Try Grandpa Dan's corn meal, wheat flour or rye flour to taste and feel the difference!

pizza crust

Grandpa Dan has combined his love for farming and pizza-making to bring you an amazing pizza crust made with all three of our farm grain flours! Each crust is handmade by Jen's Artisan Breads exclusively for Pasture Grazed. Using a combination of our corn, wheat and rye grains Jen has created a delectable par-baked pizza crust that we love. Add your favorite toppings, bake for just a few minutes, and you have a delicious, nutrient dense dinner ready to go!

These crusts are approximately 10 ½ “ x 14” & they feed 3-4 people. Seriously - the whole grains make for a hearty and filling pizza crust!

Cooking Tips:

  • Store in the freezer until pizza night. Thaw for an hour or so before cooking.

  • Preheat your oven AND pizza pan/stone so they are HOT when you put in the pizza.

  • Add your favorite toppings and bake for ~5 minutes. That's it!
